LONDON, June 21 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 extended gains in mid-morning trade on Friday, breaking above the 6,200 points mark as the June futures and options contracts expired.
By 0917 GMT, just after the expiry, the index was up 0.9 percent, or 52.73 points, at 6,212.24 points.
